Updates on Camp
We have a bus traveling from Billings to and from camp.
These stops will be in Bozeman, Helena, Missoula, and Polson.

Aug 16-20th, 2021 with registration to open May 1st, 2021 (Ages 8-17, limit of 99 enrollments)

Collaboration with fellow Type 1's, Activities (Arts & Crafts, Kayaking on Flathead Lake, Swimming, and so much more!)
Adventure Camp for ages 13-17 (Limit 9):
includes hiking and overnight camping

New location! Hosting is provided courtesy of Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp in Lakeside, MT, on Flathead Lake.

Important info for campers
Who will be there with your kids
We are incredibly blessed to have a wide variety of diabetes specials across Montana joining us for camp. Included in these volunteers are an adult and pediatric endocrinologists, Physicians assistants, registered nurses, and registered dieticians/diabetes educators. The majority of these volunteers have been part of the camp Montana community for several years. Extensive volunteer training in regards to caring for type 1 diabetes and camp policy and procedures will take place prior to camp! There’s no need to worry about your camper they are in the best of hands!
No camper left behind
We are pleased to announce that due to the incredible support this year for Montana Youth Diabetes Alliance and its mission, our first annual camp will be of NO CHARGE to our campers and their families! Please note the $10.00 registration fee is still non-refundable, as that is what pays for the processing and programming of the registration service. For those who have already submitted a payment, you will be reimbursed through the same source in which you made your payment. It is our mission to ensure the future cost of camps remains affordable to families. This year, our first year, being able to give our families this opportunity is a blessing! We hope you are all as excited as we are for the future of Camp MYDA and other upcoming events.
Please give us time to processes these current registration reimbursements. If you would like to donate your currently paid registration fee or a portion of your currently paid registration fee ( if applicable), please return email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make a list of those requests.
For those registering your camper as of 7/9/21, you will note there are no additional fees listed beside the $10.00.
