Who we are and what we do
For most kids, summer camp means adventure; for kids with Type 1 Diabetes, it means something more: belonging.
At Camp MYDA, children with Type 1 Diabetes can just be kids. Surrounded by others who understand their daily challenges.
However, MYDA is more than just a camp; we also host a family retreat every spring, where families can learn together.
MYDA also supports families year-round with their out-of-pocket expense program, helping families with the burden of costs associated with Type 1 Diabetes.

Our Mission
Our mission is to enrich the lives of youth with Type 1 Diabetes and their families, fostering independence, perseverance, and respect, while offering safe, fun, and educational opportunities.
